A hidden gem in Seymour Indiana. Easily one of the best German restaurants in the state. With Delightful food and staff that won't break the bank. The brisket on rye bread was delicious. I would recommend some German beer hall music.

Visited with my family for lunch and the restaurant has great atmosphere. Menu options varied and everyone found something they wanted. I loved the brisket on rye and my kids had the Klein burger, and chicken bites. Food came quickly and was very good. Will definitely be back!

Just stopped in for some beers and pretzels tonight, but the food is terrific! Being vegan, we get the portabello mushroom with Brussels sprouts and carrots when we actually eat here. Update: Another nice meal (always the same thing). The mushroom was cooked to perfection. The red cabbage was perfect, not mushy like some places. Great service!

Neat little place with great food and the service is second to none. They have a large selection of German favorites and beer although I do not drink. I recommend the brisket on rye. If you go with the ham and cheese you are in for a surprise. It's a half inch thick or better ham steak.

Dieses Restaurant hat viel Gemutlichkeit! If you want some great German food, this is the place. We got the „Brezel“ to start, the Wurst plate and Rouladen for the main meal, and Apfel Strudel for dessert. Everything was terrific! Right down to the super smooth schwarzbier on tap. Enjoyed it. We‘ll be back.

The food was good, the service was great, and the live music was too loud. I usually don't go to pubs, so the music was a little off-putting. However, this local spot had great food. I would return if we are ever back in Seymour. Don't miss out on the apple strudel!

Just off the main drag in Seymour is a mom and pop joint that makes homemade German fare. While the lunch menu is short it makes up for it in taste! The owner has taken care not only to provide awesome food, but has also taken the time to preserve the history of the building. You couldn't ask for better company or food- I can't wait to come back in the evening to enjoy the dinner menu!

What can I say about this place. It was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff was on point answered questions about the area and happenings. There's a mural of John Melencamp neaby that's really cool. Just a very good place to visit if your in the area
